Saving Maps

The GeoHub NI Map Viewer allows the user to save maps that are customised to the user's preferences. This gives the user the ability to return to maps of interest at a later date, without having to go through all the steps of creating them again.

Individual maps are called 'Map Definitions' in the GeoHub NI Map Viewer.

The Map Definitions tool allows you to save maps, create new blank maps containing only Basemap layers, and to manage and update your existing maps.

The three parts to the Map Definition tool are:

• Save Map Definiton As
• Update Active Map Definition
• New Blank Map Definition
