Northern Ireland Multiple Deprivation Measures by Output Area 2005

This dataset contains Northern Ireland Multiple Deprivation Measure 2005 at OA level. The Measure has been constructed by the Social Disadvantage Research Centre at the University of Oxford.

For ease of use the dataset has been divided into 4 layers:

• NIMDM_EDM_OA_2005 - The economic deprivation measure.
• NIMDM_Income_OA_2005 - The Income domain measure.
• NIMDM_Employment_OA_2005 - The employment domain measure.
• NIMDM_ProxToServices_OA_2005 - The proximity to services domain measure.

Each of the domains has two data columns:

• The first data column is the Domain Score, this was constructed by combining the indicators within that domain.
• The second data column is the Rank of the Domain Score

The OA with a rank of 1 is the most deprived, and 5022 the least deprived, for each domain. Where available, the sub domain scores and ranks are shown in black.

Please Note

All scores are presented to two decimal places. In some cases OAs with apparently the same score will be given different ranks, according to their actual score.
